First official doctor's appointment.

So my first official appointment was yesterday...please tell me why they call me yesterday morning saying that they lost all of my paperwork? I registered at Balboa NMC and my first appointment was at Miramar NMC, so in the process of sharing my information, it was lost! So they asked me to go in thirty minutes sooner to fill out my paperwork ALL over again! But that's not why I was upset...I was upset because both of our social security numbers' were on that paperwork! How could they lose it so easily? Seriously?? So I go in thirty minutes early, and ta-da...Balboa was faxing over my information as I was speaking to the receptionist. AWESOME! So I sat there until my appointment time and read some parenting material...luckily, I was the only patient there at the time! Love that! They call me in...my vitals are great, my lab results are great...I got some answers for my questions. 'What can I do about my acne?? I look like a pizza face...'. The practitioner prescribed me some cool pads...don't even know the name but they're working so far!! And also 'When will I find out the sex?'...in April at my 16-20 week mark. So after all paperwork and questions were cleared, we continued with the "physical exam" and then the best part, my first ultrasound. Had NO idea they did the first ultrasound through the Va-J...yup, they did LOL. It was amazing...I really wished Darrell had been there. I saw the baby on the screen and heard it's heartbeat...so strong and fast! It pretty much made it official that THERE IS really a baby inside of me...and it's growing! So exciting!!
